My first fifteen years in publishing were spent in-house at Random House, Headline, Michael O’Mara and Guardian Books, working my way up from assistant to editorial director. For the last decade or so I’ve been a freelance editor/project manager/IP consultant, working with publishers big and small on a huge range of titles.
In 2018, I joined the Wildfire team at Headline as a freelance project manager, creating a range of official Fortnite-branded books and co-ordinating the worldwide publication programme for the duration of the licence (over 1.6 million units sold). I now continue to work on a part-time basis for Wildfire as an IP consultant, alongside my freelance projects for other publishers.

Interests:
My love of books has been the thread that has run throughout my life, from my first Saturday job at the local library aged sixteen to my degree in English Literature; from my career in publishing to setting up a parental volunteer reading scheme at my kids’ primary school. When I haven’t got my nose in a book, I love going to gigs, checking out art exhibitions and running round Peckham Rye.
